Vivian, who you are holding here, followed in your footsteps as she also sews for the public in her spare time. She wishes she had learned more from you while you were still able.
Dencie was born in Kansas 86 years ago. No doctors and all her siblings died young. She married and had three sons. Her husband Don worked for Bordens in Oklahoma City for many years. Dencie worked as a seamstress out of her home forever. She took up selling knitting machines and doing machine knitting later on in life. Her biggest contribution to my life is one of her sons is the father of my children.
Dencie were a strong woman. Today you will be buried in Perry Oklahoma as your body failed you completely on Monday. It had been failing you for several years, but your mind remained strong. Now you are free of the body, but your goodness is still with us in my children.
I am glad our lives crossed paths and that we had the time together than we did.
